Notes to Self

… don’t sit on your ass for a month and then go back to derby.  Just keep going

… don’t go back to derby for the first time in over a month and expect to be at the level you were at the end of last season.

… don’t let your teammates down by not showing up to derby.

… don’t let yourself down by not showing up for derby.

… don’t forget that derby is your sanity.  It’s what will keep you going even when you feel like giving up on life.

… don’t stop drinking water.  It makes you feel good.

… don’t forget how awesome you feel when you work out.

… remember that regardless of how much your ass is dragging at the beginning of practice, you will feel on top of the world at the end of practice.
