Reaching Goals

I don’t know if I put it in my blog, but one of the goals I’ve set for myself is to get below 250lbs by the end of November, below 240lbs by the end of December and below 235lbs by my birthday – January 16.

I set this around the end of October and I figured 25lbs was a good goal for 2 1/2 months.

I stepped on the scale today and discovered that I’m down to 251lbs.   I am 2… count em… TWO lbs away from meeting my first goal and I have 8 days left in November to do it.

I’m freaking stoked!!

Considering over the last 2 weeks I’ve been taking it very easy due to the concussion, I can only assume that the bit of exercise I HAVE been doing (yoga, walking & HIIT) has made somewhat of a difference… but the real changes have been in my diet.

I’m not eating nearly as much crap.  I’m drinking more water.  I got put on a med that required me to take it on a full stomach with lots of water.

I drank a LOT of water.

And now I’ve lost an additional 3 1/2 lbs.   I’m down to 251 and thrilled about it.

2 more lbs and I’ve reached my first goal.
