With a dearth of indoor skating space, I watch the weather like a hawk, hoping for the break in rain that is long enough for the roads to be *mostly* dry so I can break out my skates and get moving.
Today might be one of those days.
I live in a rainforest.
Not the type where it’s mostly warm and muggy and buggy and there’s amazing cures for various diseases hidden in the plant life.
No – I live in a northern rain forest. The kind above the 52nd parallel. The kind that may end up with snow. The kind where we have two seasons: construction and rain.
We have moderate temperatures. We don’t get super hot in the summer and we don’t get super cold in the winter.
And it rains. A LOT.
So when there’s a break in the weather – I want to skate.
We’ll see if I can get out there today…. The roads are almost dry 🙂
