Somehow I think I wasn’t in derby stance the last few times I’ve skated. I think that perhaps I wasn’t using the correct muscles to do my propulsion and my skating stride.
I know this, because I hurt this morning.
My butt hurts.
My thighs hurt.
My lower back hurts.
My shins hurt.
The muscles around my big toes hurt.
It feels… awesome.
Being in fresh meat gives my body a perspective it hasn’t had.
I’m going to attempt yoga this morning. I’m GOING to have a hot shower.
And I’m going to enjoy the sore muscles as proof that I’m doing things right.
