Mark Smith – RIP

Yesterday I lost my husband.

After 22 1/2 weeks of fighting, he was tired.  He was done fighting.

We had a lovely, perfect last night together. He was at peace with his decision.

Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers over the last months.

There will be a bit of a hiatus on posting while I sort out life without him.

See you soon…

He did a fantastic job Jane. And so have you. You *do* have enough strength in you to carry on. Don’t let the weight of the world fall heavily on your shoulders; you have a lot of friends to help you.

    We’re all here for you.

It is a lot to process and I know you had said that you are doing what you have to for your family, regardless, you both are so blessed to have found one another. Let the sunshine warm your face, and the rain be your tears, you also need time to grieve and process. *hugs*

We’ve only met through this blog and the journey we both share. I am so glad you had your family together – and that you had each other at the end. My prayers are with you and your kidlets as you pause, grieve and move forward to a different future than you had planned. Grieve well.
