So last week I started with all sorts of promise and energy and good intentions.
Then it fell apart.
I wish I knew exactly what happened – I think it might have been when I stopped the yoga video part way through. Although Tuesday night was some serious junk food, so that might possibly be the culprit.
At any rate, what started out as a week of yoga and derby and eating right, ended up with junk food, junk food, no exercise and feeling like crap.
Tuesday night, there was chocolate. Wednesday morning there was quitting yoga. Wednesday night there was chips and pop. Thursday and Friday was the Victoria field trip. That involves junk food, pasta, bread, breakfast out, more junk food, burgers and fries for lunch and…. you get the point. Yes, there was walking around. But there was lots of sitting, too :p
Saturday was recovery day, but I had to work. Staying awake at work was fairly important. Bring on the coffee, and at 3pm, the chocolate almonds. Yes, I know how many points they were. No. I didn’t care. The almonds, combined with the couple glasses of water, gave me enough energy to go for the rest of my work day.
That, my friends, was my crappy week. Sunday wasn’t much better, but I made the decision at some point over the week that I’d get a do-over starting today. (kinda silly since its Halloween, but meh)
The joys of falling is that you get to get back up.
