No Excuses…

I woke up mad this morning.    I had intended on being at the gym at 6am and getting an hours workout in, but the wrong alarm was set.   I woke up before the alarm at 6.20.

My first reaction was “Dammit! Now I can’t work out!!”

But no excuses.

I have several things in my house – weights, an eliptical, a treadmill, a dog that needs to be walked.

I also have a fairly large empty space in my living room and family room.

I can use my own body weight for things like push ups and tricep dips and squats and lunges.

And I have stairs.

I have no excuse.   I might not be able to work out for an hour, but I can get 15 minutes in.  I can almost get 30 minutes in if I want to be running late after workout.

So I did 15 mins of circuit style pushups, abs and squats.

I was watching Biggest Loser last night – one of the new trainers was talking about shadow boxing.  I remember marvelling at one of the unknowns who couldn’t work out because of his knee – he sat on the end of his bed shadow boxing – and he ended up losing a large amount of weight.

I have no excuses.   None that I’m willing to use, anyhow…
